I would give 10 stars if I could! We celebrated my 50th Birthday here yesterday. Our server John was absolutely fantastic! The food was super delicious, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. I had the pork chop, it was cooked perfectly and tasted so good! My mom had the short rib gnocchi and she loved it! My beautiful wife enjoyed the Albe chicken and loved the spiciness of it! John Smalls the server couldn't have been more professional and friendly. We brought a cake and he had it served to us after dinner and even had the kitchen wash the dish we brought with us. Of course we will return very soon! We truly love it here. It's our go to spot for a great night out!
This place Alba on 53 will exceed all expectations, consistancy as well.. What a splendid bistro steak house for a date or mingle... Indoor our outdoor so many different feels. Above all the best wine and steak combo on the south shore. Maybe even the whole darn state..The food was prepared perfect the first time. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The dining options from sushi to pizza will satisfy any crowd. Just so authentic to what a great dinning experience should be.... Hats off to the whole kitchen staff you can actually see making the goodness...On a limb here but by far my favorite place to eat...Give this place a chance and now with live music..It's not just food it poetry on the palate.. This is my go to for fine dining and it's always impressive...
A great restaurant and bar to enjoy good food and service! The space is so nice with modern decor and bars. The service was very nice and quick, the waiters were friendly and professional. The food was very delicious, the gnocchi with short rib plate was mouthwatering. The sushi was ok (not my favorite place for sushi). The seven layers chocolate cake was good.They also had a live music band playing nice music. Overall recommended place!
Friday night dinner date! Loved our waitress, she was full of charm and humor! Started off with tasty drinks and grilled flat bread. Leading into the main meal. Great place to enjoy your time with a date, friends, family. Plenty of seating.
Our first time visiting this restaurant. Upon entry, we were greeted and immediately escorted to our table. The decor was modern, and everything was emmaculate. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She knew the menu and specials. We ordered drinks and sushi . The portions were generous, and the sushi was extremely fresh. Excellent presentation as well. Bathrooms were also very clean. Upon leaving, we were thanked by either the general manager or owner. This was a great visit. I anticipate coming back here in the future. Highly recommended.
Went here for our anniversary. The atmosphere was cozy and the restaurant was busy. Started off with a bottle or wine and some appetizers. The pulpo was tender and delicious. I got the ribeye and my wife got the lamb. Both were cooked well and tasted great. We also got the truffle fries and mushrooms. The stand out was the chocolate cake. It was massive and super rich. We ended getting the ice cream along side it and had half the cake left for home. Over great spot. We would go again for appetizers and drinks.
Our first time at ALBA on 53 and definitely not our last. The food, atmosphere and service are a TEN, not a 5-Star - really a 10-STAR. The vibe in the restaurant is lively, but not noisy at 5pm. Great energy. We each ordered something unique to our tastes as you'll see in the photos below. Chicken, Salmon, Pasta and Pizza were all delicious!. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The only incident we had was when she served the sushi and mistakenly gave us vinegar instead of soy. We told her it tastes funny and not like soy. When she checked, it was discovered that one of the staff mistakenly switched the bottles. She told the manager and he visited our table to apologize and 'comp' the sushi. Problem resolved with class! My only gripe was that a bottle of water for the table was 8.00 since they don't serve tap water. We had four bottles and were surprised to see the 32 fee on the bill. That's not so cool in my mind, since we paid top dollar for the meal. But so what, it was a great experience and we will be back.
Stopped in for a quick bite. One of our favorites in the Hanover area. Great service, friendly, professional and courteous. Nice modern decor, open and well lit. Positive and happy vibes all around. Waiter was attentive and excellent. Ordered the grilled octopus, lobster bisque, Caesar salad with chicken, shrimp cocktail and sushi. Yes, thought we would try the sushi and it was actually good. But the grilled octopus was absolutely succulent. Perfectly prepared, delectable.and tender. Highly recommend. Will definitely return to try the other items on the menu.
